Working with a designer includes FREE on-site measurements. Your designer will also create sketches or computer renderings of your project and space. And may include photographs of similar pieces to your project.
FABRIC SELECTION
Each Montgomery’s showroom has thousands of samples, but don’t be overwhelmed. Your designer will help you choose the perfect fabric for every piece you’re creating.
INSTALLATION
We have a team of installers available to assemble and install any custom-created window treatments you have purchased. Whether they are shades, blinds, or drapes, our installers are experienced and professional.
Custom Sewing
At Montgomery’s, we provide a vast selection of quality furniture, but we also offer custom sewing services to get your projects done. So whether you’re interested in custom drapes, valances, bedding, pillows, or something else, our custom workroom can help. While our team does not create quilts, we can provide you with custom duvets, coverlets, bed scarfs, and more! Although we are located in Sioux Falls, SD, our team of professional seamstresses is ready to create your project no matter which Montgomery’s location you shop. Montgomery’s Custom Workroom is at your service whenever you’re looking for great window treatments. We can handcraft all kinds of fabric items, from simple sheers, drapes, and curtains to Roman shades, pelmets, valances, etc. All you have to do is bring us your idea, and we’re glad to give you a quote on the job.
Our sewing services include the following: Custom Bedding – pillow shams, bedspreads, coverlets, etc. Custom Drapes, including sheers and curtains. Custom Pillows for your sofa or accent chairs. Custom Cushions to replace your sofa, loveseat, or bench cushions. Custom Roman shades, pelmets, cornice boards, and valances.

WINDOW FASHIONS DEFINED:
A hanging piece of fabric used to shut out the light from a window, adorn a room, and increase privacy.
A hanging of heavy fabric and usually of considerable length for covering a window and drawn open and shut horizontally. Typically the outer most window treatment.
