Virtual design sessions remain a popular addition to our free design service.

Free shipping now includes free inspections and, by customer request, free assembly before delivery. Under free shipping terms, items are delivered to the customer’s driveway or garage. Requests for in-home delivery and set-up will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Service teams are going into homes as requested for flooring and window measurements, with distancing and cleaning precautions being discussed with homeowners in advance.

Montgomery’s maintains an extensive inventory of in-stock merchandise. Designers are working with customers to communicate timelines on custom and special orders.

Employees prepare to work from home:

Employees that are able to, will start to work from home on Monday March 30. Montgomery’s continues to follow guidelines set by the CDC, Governor Noem’s and Mayor TenHaken’s offices. We will continue to keep our stores open at this time. Designers may also be reached via virtual appointments.

Store Hours are shortened:

As a precaution to limit the number of face to face interactions our valued employees and customers experience we will be closing all 3 locations an hour early, weekdays only. Our new hours will be Mon – Fri: 9am – 6pm. Weekend hours will remain the same at this point.

Employee travel & delivery procedures changed:

Balancing the safety of our team and our customers while remaining open is extremely important. As a precaution to limit the number of face to face interactions our valued employees experience we are limiting all travel between our 3 locations. We are also limiting access to all showrooms from outside vendors. Our warehouse pick-up will also be constricted. The Distribution Center in Sioux Falls, as well as the warehouses in Madison & Watertown will be limiting access to non-employees. Please call ahead to pick up your purchases.

A Message from our President, Eric Sinclair:

Dear Montgomery’s Family,
As the COVID-19 situation evolves daily, Montgomery’s continues to take every precaution to ensure the health and well-being of our valued employees and customers. We are following guidelines from the CDC and Governor Noem’s office to determine best practices for locally-owned businesses like ours. The Sioux Falls, Madison, and Watertown stores remain open, and our team of professionals is working hard to accommodate customers in ways they feel comfortable, such as virtual design sessions, online ordering and free driveway deliveries. These are unprecedented times calling for sensitivity, compassion and common sense. We’ve faced many challenges in our 132-year history, and we will get through this one together.
