If you’ve never heard of Market, think of it as the Super Bowl of furniture shopping! It’s a huge industry event where furniture brands debut their newest designs and concepts. Our team heads there in the fall and the spring to explore what’s new, shop for our store, and bring back the very best pieces for you.

Now that we’re back from the 2025 Spring Market, I’m so excited to share three standout trends we absolutely loved!

Trend #1: Curves

Curves were everywhere this year and we are here for it! From sectionals to side tables, vendors across the board embraced soft, organic shapes. We saw stunning curved silhouettes in all styles, from Traditional to Modern, and we’re bringing home some truly beautiful pieces to prove it.

Curved design isn’t new (hello, Art Nouveau), but with today’s tools and technology, designers are getting more creative than ever. This trend is showing up beyond just upholstery, too. We spotted curves in case goods, lighting, rugs, and accessories. It’s a versatile, welcoming look that adds flow and softness to any room.

Trend #2: Bold, Rich Colors

We’ve seen warm earthy tones for the past few Markets—greens, caramels, cinnamons—but now, bold color is stepping into the spotlight. This year, deep berry shades stole the show. Burgundy, especially, was the color of Market.

The good news? You don’t need to commit to a bold sofa to play with this trend. You can incorporate this beautiful color in accent walls, pillows, artwork, or even a rug. One idea we loved? Color drenching—painting your walls, ceiling, and trim all in one rich, moody hue. It instantly elevates a space and gives it serious character.

Trend #3: Textured Everything

Another trend we couldn’t miss? Texture! From nubby bouclé fabrics to ribbed wood finishes and sculpted ceramics, texture was a major theme this Market. It adds dimension, warmth, and personality to a space, especially when layered. Whether it’s a cozy chair, a woven rug, or a lamp with a sculptural base, these tactile details make a room feel inviting and elevated.

These trends will all be arriving to Montgomery’s in the next few months. Be prepared to be amazed!
