Montgomery’s is excited to announce the purchase of Malchows Home Furnishings in Aberdeen, SD, forming a strong partnership between two long-time SD family-owned furniture stores by combining over 200 years experience in fine home furnishings. A fourth Montgomery’s location will be built in Aberdeen later this year.
As we continue to work through these times together, we are warmed to have the acknowledgment of others. An outreach of the Beacom School of Business at the University of South Dakota has featured a few local businesses and their innovative approach to continuing to serve the communities they are in. He is never afraid to step outside the box and try new things to improve. He demonstrates a fierce passion for furniture, family, and community. Following his parents’ family rule to “ … get a college degree and work for someone else before you have a job in the family business,” he became a sales rep for Rowe Furniture, where he landed the Rep of the Year award.”
